The fair cottager : a comedy, circa 1775.

Manuscript, in a single hand with a few corrections, of a 5-act comic play regarding the unhappy betrothal of Louisa Lewellin to Humphrey Ploughshare, and her elopement with, and subsequent marriage to, Sir Edward Bountiful. Verses of songs, sung by the characters, appear throughout the play, and the play is prefaced by a verse prologue.
